Sildaja

Two homes, one calm week for your child.

Sildaja keeps the care schedule, handover notes, shared costs and conversations about your child in one quiet place for both parents. There is no account, and everything is encrypted on your phone.

Installs from your browser on any phone, no app store needed.

On iPhone: open in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Open the downloaded file and allow the install when the phone asks. Not from an app store, so the phone warns once.

You can start alone. The other parent joins later with the invite link.

What both of you see

The care schedule
Alternating weeks, 2-2-3, 2-2-5-5, alternate weekends or your own cycle. Swaps and changes take effect when the other parent accepts.
Handover notes
Sleep, food, medicine, mood, school and the bag, in a short note that cannot be changed once it is sent. A correction can be added next to it.
Shared costs
Any split, a balance for each currency and one transfer to settle. Sildaja never moves money. Payments count once the receiver confirms them.
Conversations about your child
One topic per thread. No read receipts, typing dots or online status.
A fair record
Messages, proposals, notes and costs with authors and times, printable for a mediator. What one parent can show, both can see.

A second look before you send

Sildaja can point out how a message might land: blame words, shouting, sarcasm, a legal threat or a message sent late at night. It never rewrites and never blocks, and you can turn it off. The check runs only on your phone.

If something happens to me

A letter about your child for a person you trust: routines, health, the people in their life, where the documents are and your wishes. It has its own key, separate from the space you share with the other parent. Share the link now and give the passphrase another way.

It refuses passwords, PINs and card numbers. It is a sealed envelope, not a timed release.

Private by how it is built

There is no account and no server of ours. Each phone makes its own key, everything is encrypted before it leaves, and Nostr relays pass the encrypted pieces between the two phones. A new phone counts only after you approve it on yours, and an optional code can lock the app.

Relays see

Encrypted pieces, each phone's public key, a random space id, times and sizes.

Only the two of you see

Names, dates in the schedule, amounts, notes and every word you write.

How to start

  1. Start a space with your name as your child says it, your child's first name and the care schedule.
  2. Send the invite link to the other parent, in person or by a private message.
  3. Agree on changes in the app, where both of you see the same week.

Questions

Does the other parent have to use it?

It works best with both. Until the other parent joins, your own changes to the schedule apply at once.

What does it cost?

The web app is free to use right now.

Which languages does it speak?

Estonian, English and Brazilian Portuguese.

Can a mediator see our messages?

Only what you choose to print. Sildaja makes a printable record of a date range, with authors and times.

What if I or my child is not safe?

Sildaja is for parents who can talk about their child. If you or your child are in danger, call your emergency number, 112 anywhere in Europe. The app lists help lines for your country.
